Terms of Service

Bookla is booking infrastructure — software that lets independent beauty and wellness businesses accept and manage appointments. We are not a marketplace. We don't send you clients. We don't take a cut of your revenue.

The relationship is simple: you pay a flat monthly fee, and we provide the platform.

By creating an account, you confirm that:

• You are operating a real business and will provide accurate information about your services and staff.
• You will not use the platform for fraudulent bookings, data harvesting, or any purpose other than managing appointments for your own business.
• You are responsible for your staff's use of the platform under your account.
• You will keep your contact and billing information current.

Customers booking through a Bookla-powered page agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information when booking.
• Cancel at least 24 hours in advance if they cannot attend. The specific cancellation policy is set by the business, not by Bookla.
• Not misuse the booking form for spam, fake bookings, or abuse.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from the billing settings in your dashboard — no notice period required.

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, your account remains active until the period ends.

If a payment fails, we'll notify you and give you 7 days to update your billing information before access is paused.

To the extent permitted by Ontario law, BB Media's liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of Bookla is limited to the fees you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We are not liable for lost bookings, lost revenue, data loss from third-party integrations, or indirect damages of any kind.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. You may terminate your account at any time. On termination, you can export your data for 30 days afterward; after that, records are deleted.

Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
