Privacy Policy

When you or your clients use Bookla, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Phone number (if provided)
• Booking history — services booked, dates, staff, notes
• Business information you enter during account setup

We do not collect payment card numbers directly. Payments are handled by Stripe; we receive a transaction reference.

All data is stored on Supabase in the ca-central-1 region — physically located in Canada, operated under Canadian law. Nothing is replicated to servers outside Canada without your explicit consent.

Three parties:

• You — the business owner and your authorized staff.
• Your customers — limited to their own booking records.
• BB Media staff — for support and platform maintenance. Access is logged and reviewed.

We do not sell, share, or license your customer data to third parties for marketing, advertising, or profiling.

We operate in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate records, or deletion of your data at any time.

If you operate under Quebec's Law 25, the Canadian data residency applies and we can provide a data processing agreement on request.

You can export all your data at any time from the dashboard. If you want us to delete your account and all associated records, email privacy@bbmedia.ca. We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 14 business days.

We use session cookies for authentication. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics, it will be privacy-first (no cross-site tracking) and disclosed here.

Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
